Surprise Rooftop Nuptials Featured in Inside Weddings Magazine
We are thrilled to see these gorgeous rooftop nuptials featured in print in the Winter 2017 issue of Inside Weddings Magazine! Together with an incredible team of vendors, we planned a beautiful wedding for our brides who surprised their family and friends with an unforgettable celebration of their love.
“Believing they would be attending a birthday celebration, Alyssa and Jasmine’s immediate families and wedding party arrived oblivious to the plan. ‘We brought our mothers together and gave them both personalized handkerchiefs explaining how much we loved them – they also came with a note that said, ‘Surprise! We’re getting married!’’ Jasmine laughs. Once they wheeled in a clothing rack filled with custom ensembles for the bridesmaids and bridesmen, their friends finally caught on. ‘They’d all been fitted for their outfits, but we led everyone to believe we were getting married next year!’ reveals Alyssa. Upon their gradual arrival, each attendee learned the true nature of the festivities through the wedding program. By the time Jasmine – clad in a stunning fitted ivory trumpet gown – began her descent down the aisle to meet Alyssa – wearing an ethereal white fit-and-flare dress and a bridal cape – their intentions were universally clear.” – Inside Weddings
A stunning tunnel of blush roses led the way to the rooftop ceremony where the brides exchanges vows beneath an exquisite floral structure by Mark’s Garden. The circular structure was placed in the center of the ceremony design so guests could enjoy the view of the nuptials from any seat on the rooftop. Guests were then escorted inside for cocktail hour while the rooftop was being transformed into a gorgeous reception full of romantic details.
Revelry Event Designers‘ elegant mirrored table tops boasted beautiful place settings, tons of candlelight in glass votives, and the most magnificent centerpieces of ivory and blush florals. Rose gold chairs complimented and completed the romantic ambiance of the heavenly celebration under the stars.
